Often referred to as Asia’s most technologically advanced hotel, Langham Place Hotel opened on 04/08/04 with tremendous interest and intrigue revolving around not just the rationale of opening such a property in this location, but the kind of technology it was kitted out with.

Hong Kong where to Live

Here is a quick overview of Hong kong residential areas… The Peak Generally perceived as the most prestigious residential location in Hong Kong, The Peak offers spectacular views over the surrounding island and coastline. Although only 15 minutes drive from the Central business district, it offers large green areas and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle below. Mid Levels This area is located close to Central, which can be reached in a few minutes on foot via the world’s largest outdoor escalator. It offers a large choice of prestigious high-rise apartment blocks, many with their own leisure facilities, and with excellent views over Victoria Harbour. Happy Valley It is an exclusive area encompasses old and new buildings with both high-rises and low-rises developments. Some of the development enjoys greenery and peaceful view of the racecourse. Supermarkets, local food markets, furniture stores and a great variety of restaurants and specialty shops are around. Jardine’s Lookout This quiet residential area offers low-rise and stand alone houses as well as high-rise apartments, and its convenient location offers easy access to Central, The Peak and Southside. Shouson Hill Shouson Hill has a quiet environment and it locates behind the Deepwater Bay. Most properties there are either low-rise apartments or individual house and having swimming pools and gardens.
